The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department awarded a $147,861 Beautification Grant to Amity City Park, enabling the city of Amity to add new restrooms, a covered picnic area, a nature play area for small children, and a hiking trail around the park. Construction is expected to begin this Spring and to be completed by the end of Summer 2014. What a great opportunity for exercise and healthy activities for all to enjoy.
